Probably easier in dual player mode. Single player was challenging. Finished in 7 hours of leisurely play not including watching the reward videos. I really enjoyed it, and the artwork is amazing. There is an additional game available for it called Foxtales.. While this game has a beautiful art and interesting videos about the culture of the native people of Alaska, I must say that the controls are terrible, specially with the keyboard and mouse combo, it gets better if you have a controller but not by much,sorry, even if the game is beautiful visually, I can not recommend this game.. A lovely, charming and delightful game. It's true that the controls could be better but I found it a joy to play nonetheless.. Never Alone is a story-telling side-scroller that has beautiful cultural references and insights. They did a wonderful job on research and story telling pieces snipped in between scenes that made me want to play through in one sitting to fully immerse into the game.Pros:- Good pace- Immersive story line- Endless lives (needed)- Very educational- Fitting soundtrack- Enjoyable graphics and designCons:- Gaining the self-restraint to not chuck my keyboard because of control layout- Flying character needs to be reworked - removed me from the very well flowing first-half of the story to more tedious movements in the second-half- Glitchy platforms at timesIf you have patience to solve the puzzles and deal with more difficult areas, then this game is worth the experience. I recommend it to those who value story telling and history interwoven with pleasing graphics and a short play-time.
